Yep, used JB Weld and it worked beautifully. I used it to cold weld a piece
of sheet metal over the hole. I didn't use JB Weld exclusively to fill the
entire area. It held for almost a year until I was able to scrape up the
dough for a new manifold. I mixed it with a whole lot of the black and only
a little of the white. I let it set for a few days before starting the
engine. The heat cured it the rest of the way, and no problems. I did have
a problem using JB Qwik. It was way too brittle. But I've never had a
problem using JB Weld.
