Robert, I stopped and picked this shifter knob ( yet undrilled) looking item up
for the princely sum of 5 bucks. Would you want this one to drill and tap? It's
a
laminate wood knob about the size of the after market jobs, it has a little flat
spot on it (thumb rest) where it was made to rest on a flat surface. The little
clock face sits down inside the knob about 1/4 to 5/16 of an inch. It would save
you messing up a good MG logo knob. Let me know if you want it, any other
listers
may also reply as there was one more that I did not purchase that I would go
back
and get. Brad (needing another reason to go cruising with the top down
instead of cleaning my messy workshop) Paul, it's a beautiful day here, sun is
out and it's 70 degree F outside<G>
