Dear List:
Now that I've got the Midget running again (after repairing some wiring and
swapping electronic ignition for points), I no longer have a working
tachometer. How does the circuit go back together? I have two obvious
choices. One is a yellow wire that connects to a small 2-inch sqaure little
box near the fuse block. There is also a brown and white (or black and
white) wire coming apparently from the alternator wire bundle. I would
guess that the impulse for the tach should come out of the coil, but since I
still haven't gotten a copy of the correct wiring diagram, does anyone have
any advice to offer?
