I'm attempting to refurbish the front suspension. Kingpins, bushings and
paint ( and a-arm repair if necessary ), etc.
It finally fell off. But first let me remind people that I was trying to
disassemble the front suspension inside my house after bringing it in from
the cold. Well, I should have gone back to following the order of the
instructions, because it was the disc backing plate that was stopping the
lower part of the king pin from clearing. <hanging head in embarassment>.
Silly me thought that getting the heavy awkward piece off first would make
life simpler.
Who put that cotter pin in there? Sheesh! < trying to change the subject>
Must ov been Brad! Anyway back to taxes.
I'm living and learning. ( but, will I remember? ) I'll remember long
enough to do the second side anyway.
