I don't know what the possibilities are regarding boring out the Spridget
flywheel to take the larger(?) diameter crank flange. The Spridget1275 has
that taper on it to contend with too. The possibility of using something
else such as a ford/Toyota/datsun flywheel and clutch might be worth
considering. The big prob will be the odd looking spacing of the flywheel
bolts. There are six but the spacing is uneven. Has anyone tried to get a
custom flywheel made? Steel, with six holes, a spigot and a clean edge to
mount a starter ring on. Can't be too hard, can it? The bush for the
gearbox shaft needs to be bored in as the one in the Maestro is too shallow
( about 3/4 inch.)

Over to you!
