It seeps around the piston oil tube and down into the little moat inside the 
piston where it drains out through the piston vacuum chamber holes at the 
rear bottom corner of the piston.  From there it enters the piston as 
"top-cylinder lubricant" which extends engine life. SUs are awesome!  Top 
them up weekly but fust to the top of the piston tube.  If there's oil on 
the underside of your bonnet, you're filling them too full.
