Got there just as the gates opened. Big stampede! Got to a stall with
frogeye
bits and grabbed a tacho drive gearbox and cable out of the 3 he had on
sale. He said "that will fit Morris Minors too." You just KNOW you can
beat him down on price when he says something as dumb as that! Guy there
selling BRAND NEW Tacho drive dynamos that he has had re-cast with new
centre shafts of the correct type (not new ends welded on). P and J
Electrics? Didn't get the number but he goes to every Beaulieu. £5 for a
correct MGPB wiper motor, mechanism and blades. Arnott supercharger and
also two Shorrocks for about £400 each. Sprite Mk1
owners handbook in perfect condition for less than the cost of an ice cream.
Not as much Spridget stuff as the autumn (fall?) show but still a good day
out over the border in England.
PS Somebody was advertising flights over to the US for the HERSHEY show.
