I have strayed from the fold... bought an Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider today. It
is bright red with a great body and paint, nice interior, bad top, quiet
exhaust, and a fuel starvation problem. It runs quite well for a short time
then starts missing and backfiring. The PO said he tested the fuel pressure
and it would be fine and then go low. Sounds like a clogged filter
somewhere.
It has 58K showing and appears to be right! Tranny shifts well and is quiet.
The power brakes will put you into the windshield though.
All for the low price of $1500. (He started at $1800.)
