I had the same problem in my 72 Midget. It turned out to be the starter that
was draining the battery. $50.00, some ruined knuckles (Gary's), some new
profanity learned (by me), and the 10 year old battery now holds a charge. Now
just a bit of tweaking here and there, and I might have a running Midget before
summer is over (fingers crossed).
