Nope. They each had their own sequence. You must be mistaken on the Midget
serial though... there is no GAN9. The 1500 Midgets are GAN6 and a '68
Midget would be a GAN4

HAN9U 78762G would be a December 1968 car and GAN9(4)U 73256G would be
would be around August 1969.
