Yes, it was great to get to meet the Millers. I firmly believe more
Spridgeteers need to drive through Knoxville, because I could get used to
hanging out in pubs having interesting conversations over good food and
beverages.

We just spent a delightful evening last night. Paula and I, and Adrian
Barnes of here in Knoxville, met Larry Miller and his wife, Sandi, as they
are driving their way across the country in their red Miata. Very nice
people. They put up at the downtown Holiday Inn--World's Fair. We drove to
a local microbrewery, Barley's, and over wonderful Calzones and a pitcher of
their "Shakespeare" Stout engaged in a most lively discussion about, yep,
you
guessed it: Spridgets!!!! While we three guys dwelled on discussing our
cars, the women talked between themselves, drifting between our car-laden
discussion and their own agenda.
All in all a nice evening! Larry and Sandi are off to Nashville for this
evening, and Memphis on Thursday. They are staying off the Interstates and
taking in the REAL countryside on our beautiful Tennessee 2-lanes.
