I haven't mentioned it, but 7 weeks ago, I took the Midget off the road to
do a little work on the stereo. No big deal, but didn't want to drive it
with the console and all its assorted wiring dangling about. Well, then I
broke my leg! So even after I got the stereo re-installed, I couldn't drive
the bugger and the season was slowly slipping away.
Well, yesterday after 5 1/2 weeks, the cast came off! Weooohawwwh! took
the little guy out for a cruise today. Brisk cool air swirling through the
cockpit. Angelic ringing exhaust note as I held off the shifts until
redline. Red, yellow and brown leaves caught in the tail draft. A right,
tight then a left. Another shift. Ahhhh. Winter will be here all too
soon.
