I have noticed a slight dent only visible from certain angles on my hood. It
appears the hood touches rear dashpot when the hood is slammed or when the
engine revs. Will a APT fast manifold lower the angle somewhat to clear the
hood? I don't know why my stock HS2s (?) hit the hood with my stock
manifold. Maybe the sloted hood mounts are mouted to low. I know it was
mounted crooked (like the M0$$ catalog :P).
If I go up in size to the HS4s, will the dashpots strike the hood for sure?
And APT makes 2 different versions for the dual HS2, 0 degree
(http://www.aptfast.com/Images_Parts/Intake_Manifold/A_Intake%20Manifolds/SU
AH2-0.jpg) and 20 degree
(http://www.aptfast.com/Images_Parts/Intake_Manifold/A_Intake%20Manifolds/SU
A2-2.jpg).
But they make a 20 degree and a 30 degree (mini) for the HS4
(http://www.aptfast.com/Images_Parts/Intake_Manifold/A_Intake%20Manifolds/SU
A4-2.jpg)
Anybody know what will fit without the hood buldge?
Thanks
Toby
