Just about every racing Spridget in the UK and possibly Europe runs an
additional vent off the rocker/valve cover without any problems. I have
personally watched someone else cars running on the chassis dyno and it
didn't really breathe out much oil until it reached about 6,800 rpm (may have
been higher). This breathing out of oil came from a standard timing case
breather and the valve cover. A breather on the block alone will not be
sufficient.
