I have a question, most turbos I have seen compress the air and send
it into a box on the air cleaner side of the carb. Your setup looks
like the turbos output goes directly into the intake manifold. How
does this work? I would expect that the compressed gases would be
forced into the cylinder, which is what you want, and pushed out
the carb, which is not what you want. What am I missing?

One other thing, what kind of turbo and what was the source?
