I've JPEG photo'd some shots of the 'Mk2' relay system I made for the '72.
Made the wiring loom up from a 1500 loom to suit the odd-ball chassis/engine
combination. Would be willing to make up a complete kit of parts to just
"plug-in" to a Midget, using new parts ordered from here in the UK if anyone
wants one. Also includes fused relays in waterproof cases and a multi-60amp
fuse system to help prevent fire in the event of a crash. Cost me about #50
to make the 'super loom' section from the switches all the way to the
130watt bulbs.

 I.F.D. (instant forward daylight!)

Made some other smart additions too. Spare terminals all the way for any
additional gadgets I desire at a later date. Small bulb and switch on the
dash that light up when the brake lights glow, whilst allowing me to flash
the brake lights when another car gets too close. Buzzer mounted in the
boot to supplement the reversing light. Buzzer under the bonnet for when
the oil light comes on. Electric fuel pump isolator switch hidden in the
carpet to prevent theft. Modern fuse box with standard blade fuses (except
60amp maxi blades near the battery). Wiper motor under the dash on the
passengers side. 4 extra washer jets mounted either side of the blade to
constantly throw water 1 inch either side of the moving blade. All
terminals replaced with crimped and soldered brass terminals and new rubber
covers.

Cost more than buying a new standard loom for the whole thing but allows the
use of wires much
more highly rated, thus reducing the chance of a burn-out and also reducing
the voltage drop over the wires. Using new RISTS plugs also allows me to
separate sections of it. ie. the front loom to the lights, the instrument
panel, the rear loom, the 'extra accessories' etc.

Can anyone in the US get any US wiring catalogues for me? Websites with
prices? Any suggestions for places to try in the Boston area? Coming to
the US next week and would like to see if I can buy anything whilst there.
