Ryan,
Buy a new carpet set. Don't be concerned with restoring what's in the car
because
Bugeyes never came with carpeting. (Somebody might start a thread about dealer
installed/period-accessory options in which case feel free to install everything
from the 1960 JC Whitney catalogue.)
So look for a good quality carpet set in your price range. Get samples and
compare the quality. My personal recommendation is to bring the car to a trim
shop and have them install a high quality dense material to your liking. You
might find it compares in price to kits and fits much better.
Frank has some good recommendations and instructions on the PDLJMPR website to
do
the job for $9.50 plus tax. Check that out too.
