Thanks... No, I was not aware Goodyear is getting out of the comp
business... I might look at Khumos- our Mazda Spec 7 "spec" tire is the
Khumo V700 Victoracer... Lasts fairly well, and I like the handling
characteristics, but there might be stickier road racing tires out there-
some of the Hoosiers for sure! With a solid rear axle, I am not sure I want
tires which are very, very sticky anyways...
Thanks for the info on tire pressure. I run 32 psi hot on my Mazda, but that
car is over 1000 lbs heavier than the Sprite... I'll try 25 lbs on the
Sprite next practice. 28 might still be a little high... My Sprite weights
just under 1200 lbs without fuel and driver. I'll weigh it with at least a
half tank of fuel and me in the driver seat next race...
