Bhahah That's hilarious. The article words are the same, but the products
are changed:

"the spark plug which usually gives best performance is a Champion N7Y (or
equivalent) gapped to 0.024".

or

"the spark plug which usually gives best performance is a NGK BP8ES or
equivalent gapped to 0.014".

So which is it? NGK or Champion at .024 or .014?

Anyway, that kinda pisses me off.

I took a look at this site and I am *very* unimpressed.

The page http://www.bcsc.co.uk/sprite2.htm titled "Sprite Maintenance and
Improvement
Hints" is a thinly edited and totally uncredited version of John Fowler's
1979 article for the
Austin Healey Sprite Drivers Club (http://reality.sgi.com/ahsdc) magazine
"Goblins' Gazette".
The article is also titled "Spridget Maintenance and Improvement Hints" and
can be found at
http://reality.sgi.com/ahsdc/goblins/tech/modify.htm This article has been
on the web since
1994.

This is extremely unethical. Shame on you Jonathan Peck and BCSC you are
plagiarisers.

I have a printed copy of the web page in question and CC'd this message to
the original author.

At minimum I would expect a widely circulated (and profuse) apology and
large, clear credit
at the top of the page in question and a link to both the club web site and
to the original article.

Plagiarism is almost as low as you can sink. Jonathan signs his name at the
bottom of this
article, claiming credit for something that he clearly did not write. It is
a clear and definite
case of plagiarism.

How can you trust people and suppliers who stoop this low? You rely on the
integrity of
people you deal with and pay money to. This demonstrates a decided lack of
ethical
judgement (at the very minimum).

Jonathan, you are just lucky *I* didn't write the article in question.

Mike
