crashmeister!

you have 2 difrent things to look into! on the side that has worn more than
the other side...possibly you have a front brake hose that has swollen the
inner hose and has not properly been releasing pressure causing more wear on
that side than the other. the other is brake caliper pistons on the side
that had lining left might be on the verge of siezing in the bores and not
applying at same rate as the other side. the easy way is to rebuild both
calipers and replace both hoses to the calipers. and thoroughly examine the
caliper pistons for any signs of wear or rust that may compromise their
travel in their bores or lead to leaks. it is time to thoroughly examine
the components. you may find that after you rebuild the brakes that the
car has completly difrent brakes. these things go bad at a very slow rate
and usually most owners do not notice the gradual change in the brakes
ability to stop. but a test drive right after a rebuild usually warrants a
reaction of "wow! it never stopped like that before"!

always remember to pump up the brakes after bleding out the air to seat the
pads on the rotors before you attempt to go out for a test drive! otherwise
the first stop wil be a very exciting experience you will never ever
forget!!!!!

chuck.
no i have never done a brake job before, but i stayed at a holiday inn last
night!!! lol!
