I put a new windscreen on my 72 a few years ago, and did not remove the
dash. Two bolts are fairly easy to get to, the others are a real pain in
the posterior. It can be done by one person, but it is much easier if
one person holds the windscreen while the other wrenches and swears. I
did it by myself and taught myself some words I didn't know that I knew.

Haynes says the dash has to be removed to remove the windscreen. But I'm
looking at a replacement that doesn't look like it has any central or
hidden
bolts.
Do I have ot remove the dash or will it come out with just the door
frame
bolts?
