Just read some of your mails subsequent
to my responses to your initial,

You know what, if you know for a FACT
the carb. is blowing back when you are
getting the "bog", and the engine diesels
sometimes when you shut it down, and
the PO says he had the carb. set up for
a 1275, I would then suspect the timing
might be a little to far advanced!

This would definitely cause a "bog"
from a standing start.

Maybe the problem has nothing to do
with the carb., after all?
