Paul,
        The throwout bearing is different for the 948 and the 1275.  The 1275 
throw 
out bearing from the pivot pins to the front of the bearing is longer on the 
1275 because the 1275 pressure plate is shorter from theflywheel to the end 
of the plate.  BTDT!
