I have this on my wife's minivan - it is a fantastic
"free" option, BUT IT SHOULD REMAIN AN OPTION. 

Saved our butts big time on the interstate en route to
New York where I was doing 75 or so and were,
unbeknownst to me, losing air steadlily.  I was able
to fill it with the plug-in pump I take on trips and
get us to a rest stop prior to getting a complete flat
and shredding the tire completely at highway speed.
