Mark does run these lists on Unix boxen.  (I don't know if majordomo is
even available for Windoze, but I don't think so.)

However, even though it can only *attack* Windoze IIS systems, CodeRed
*affects* the whole 'net.  Some of the potentially attacked systems
serve one of many "traffic cop" like functions on the Internet.  Picture
what would happen to all the traffic in a major city when some important
traffic signals go on the fritz, even if it's only a few.  Besides, the
flood of traffic that CodeRed generates for all servers can make a mess
of things as well.
