Fair enough, man, but I'll settle for your
obvious good intent (LOL).

Yeah, if the spark energy isn't "balanced"
both ways, either of the points will take
a beating and "pit" (electrical "corrosion"
I think this is called?) due to too much
energy going "one way". (Or something
like this; not really a real good "technical
type", I'm afraid!)

Important part of this is you discovered
'cause of "miss", it's fixed and you are on
your way!! Enjoy!

Well Bob, I'd be perfectly willing to send you the runner up prize:  it's the
aircraft condenser that I will replace with the proper one!!!
Re: your question of condenser sizing, I called Mallory and the guy told me to
go to the parts store and get any .28uf condenser.  Yes they are sized, but I
don't know how or why.
