Scooby Doo, where are you?
I am the sell of the mag minilites Jaques was asking the list about. Any the
wheels are still a mystery.
Very light at less than 6# ea 8 spoke Minilites. The spokes have dipples
around the lug holes, JPEGS availalbe. The set is in good condition, uses
square shouldered "shanked" lugs. The cast holes are concenteric and not worn.
I just purchased a 61 Bugeye and these wheels were in the boot. Two wheels
are 5" (six inches overall) wide, two are 4.5" wide. Another clue Scooby is
the offset. The fat wheels have lots o' negative offset. Backspacing is 4",
ala front wheel dirve. I am thinking Austin Mini or Cooper wheels, fat in
front?? Dunno. Any info gladly accepted. Drope by and check them out.
If I can determine fitment and application, they're going on E-bay. Casting #
93056 on one and only one wheel.
