ya know? it depends upon what type of finish you are looking for and if it
is a restoration or a personal taste type of finish. and opinions on to do
or not to do are as plentifull as tail pipes...(evryone has one). not even
entertaining the numerous paint manufacturers and types of paint. one guy
has a horrible experience with urethane and will only paint acrylic
enamel.....one guy has a problem with clear and will never shoot clear again
. the list of hits goes on and on...pro and con. the end of this should
be ......(grabbing armor plate for my tushie! *real big piece*).....ask the
shop you are going to have shoot the car what they use and why? stay away
from answers like " it's the only paint i can buy" . ask lots of questions
from guys who use this media evry day week in and week out. the
professionals who handle the stuff have varied reasons from " materials
being sensitive to humidity" to " extremly sensitive to heat or cold". so
you see the answer is somewhat relative to your geographical location and
what brands are available where you live. ask questions! you have
nothing to loose and evrything to gain!

chuck.
btw! i do have some factory jaguar clear in the cool metal tube with the
screw on brush/cap. the stuff exists!
