Mike,
     The radiator core is a exact duplicate of the original Sprite core with 12 
fins per inch and staggered tubes with the exception of having 3 rows instead 
of the original
2 rows.  You may have something about the carb leaning out.  It does not seam 
to be a problem when the motor is cold.  When the temp reaches 200F the engine 
wants to die at stop lights and is difficult to start again.  It also dies on 
hard left turns and will do so easier when
the motor is hot.  Still have the original Holley 2042 carb on it.
