Yeah right Allen...you should get enough for your Midget to buy a set of
tires for one of these big boys.   Bare tractor is going to run you about
$80K, and I have no clue what one of the 800hp Cats will run, but it won't be
cheap.

I got to look close at a Werner Enterprise tractor and a grand opening a few
months ago in Laredo, TX...truly the end of the earth....and it had two V-8
detroit deisels crammed under the hood, and enough chormium to pollute the
drinking water of the free world.

I have met a few times the fellow that holds the Pikes Peak record for class
8 tractors...Glenn Brown...CEO of Contract Freighters Inc., Joplin MO.

Actually, I have some experience with these puppies, although somewhat older
models, and they are quite top heavy.  Sliding one tends to chew holes in the
driver seat cushion...
