I couldn't agree more on the 3/4 front bar
along with good tires,etc.

If I really get wild with my Frog so equipped (tube shocks, T/A's along
with
5.5 Western minilite wannabe's, panhard
rod), the shoulder harness (Simpson) must be worn to maintain proper
control,
yet alone, stay in the seat.

Juggling the tire pressures within reason
will allow some "tuning" of under/over
steer aspects. Choose a tire that has 
come "contaminated surface" capability
as well if it's a daily driver type of situation!
