Number 1: Sprite no longer supercharged. I went back to the simpicity of carbs
and of course I am now rebuilding the rear carb due to idle problems associated
with the butterfly.
Number 2: From Southern California to Canada in a Bugeye might have appealed to
me when I was 19 years old, but these days 80 MPH in a nice new truck is a more
likely senario. Besides after what I spent on the restoration I don't want to
put that many miles and wear and tear on the car. But, if someone near me was
going in that direction for a similar purpose, splitting the cost of the trip
would be more desireable.
