Mine did--in fact I have a reverse dimple in my bonnet where it rubbed and
banged against the underbonnet. What kind of Air filter do you have? I am
using a K&N which I press down and crimp on one side so the top of the filter
sits at an angle that will clear the underbonnet. Instead of a stud and nut
on the outer side, which rubs the underbonnet, I use a plastic zip tie, which
further lowers the air filter since there is no stud and nut.
