I didn't go measure but from memory, Spridgets are about 42" between tires and
about 50 inches outside to outside.
I left out the fractions, different width tires not considered.
But 54" is a Spridget with really wide tires, and that's the outside
measurments,
if you have 54 between the tires, you have one of those rare wide bodied
Midgets!
It's about a foot wider.
the whole car is 54" wide from door handle to door handle.
