11:15 and i'm on the verge of irresponsibility! i'm celebrating at home
a-la-cheap! boones farm! yup ! boones farm. a couple bottles of boones
farm strawberry pop and i'm having a rather plesant time....next i'll be
playing with the train under the tree. as i think of this, i believe i'll be
taking my bugeye out for a brisk run tomorrow. no salt on the road and i
cannot think of a better way to start off the new year! just me and my friend
enjoying 28 years together. man, i love that enthusiastic little car! (and
god bless it for putting up with me as an owner for so darn long!) (i'll
probably need to chissel the ice off my beard!.
btw! i climbed up to the summit of mount mitchell in north carolina last
friday. that was incredible! 1&1/4 miles above sea level! i had 2 asthma
attacks and refused to turn back. what a view! i was with my brother inlaw
and my son. not real proud of the asthma attacks, but real proud of myself
for not giving up and being able to say "i did it" . mt mitchell is the
highest mountain east of the missippi. just awsome!
also toured new market battle field. a civil war site. very moving.
life is good! (after last friday...air is good too! lol!)
