Think I misspoke a bit. I remember it being open and legally drivable "just
like a chicane" when we were on our (late) honeymoon in 1962, which is the
last time we drove it--definitely E-ticket. Sometime after that, although it
is still technically open to residents, they did something like blocking up
one end or the other so you couldn't play on it. I'm not sure when they did
that or what the status is now, but I am pretty sure you can't just take your
little car on it and play. It certainly must have been a pain for the people
who lived there, but it sure was fun for us. Maybe Gerard could tell us.
