Me too, well this isn't as an automotive tool, but
A couple of days ago, the main waste line in our hose split, a 4 foot
section of 4 inch cast iron pipe in the basement. (Luckily noticed while it
was the that dishes were being done!) It split along the top. This was at 9
o'clock at night and I wasn't about to spend $100+ an hour for a night hose
call from a plumber.
Duct Tape to the rescue! Used a whole roll to double wrap the section til
the plumber could come the next day. Didn't leak a drop!!
