Just a data point, and don't want to stir up any debate, but thought you all
might be interested to know that the Porsche factory recommends Techron.
They say its the only additive that actually does any thing positive. Those
guys don't recommend very much, so I use it.

Go to Schlep Boys or Tow Zone and get a bottle of "Techron". It cures all
manner of ills. Sounds like your ill could be on its list. If worse comes to
worse, it won't hurt anything.
