Hi Robert,
There is a new virus that came out yesterday. Here is a snip from a
warning that was sent to me.

Date: 04-17-02

The Klez worm will attempt to disable your anti-virus software!
The Klez virus has numerous subject lines and attachment names, making
it difficult for you to identify. If you open an infected attachment,
the virus will send itself to everyone in your Microsoft Outlook Address
Book. Once the worm has infected your computer it will attempt to
disable your anti-virus software. By disabling your anti-virus
protection your computer is at risk to be infected by any of the 50,000+
known viruses.

Beware of emails with the following characteristics:

From (someone that has you in their email address book)
Subject: (random) Possible subject lines include: "Editor of PC
Magazine, Worm Klez.E Immunity, How are you, A very funny website,
meeting notice, 1996 Microsoft Corporation, Some questions, Telephone
number"
Body: (random)
Attachment: (random)

Part of the problem is Outlook Express. Most viri <sp> come by way of
outlook express it seems. I personally use Netscape for my email browser
and I use Norton System Works 2002 for virus protection. Between that
and the fact that my ISP helps to scan for viri <sp> before recieving
and sending. In fact, with this combonation I havent had a virus in over
a year, Every single virus was caught before it made it onto my system.
