Datsun trannie conversions are about $600+/- from either Rivergate or
Morriservice (Paul A). Is $100 for complete kit, or only for conversion
plate? While each kit is somewhat different, both kits include a number of
other parts & services that can add-up fast if buying individual parts.
Kits should work with either 4 or 5speed trannies. I believe that Paul A
listed the trans numbers for each that worked. 4speed gives syncro in 1st
gear (only reason I could think of for going with 4speed rather than 5)
FWIW, I will be ordering a kit from Paul A as soon as I save up some dinero.
