Not surprised, Andrew!!

Though this says great things about your
coordination and driving style, it also says
great things about the way Japanese cars
are put together. "Run good, last a long time".....and, they do!

After trying a Datsun gearbox, I'd find
it nearly impossible to go back to the
British box, which (I am afraid) can only
be described as "crude" by comparison.

Seriously, Japanese mechanicals are
just generally well built. I had a flying buddy with 250K on his Honda
"commuter".....burned a little oil but never
had the head off and has the original clutch!!  Like me he is easy on
the mechanicals but still....fantastic!!
