You are not alone in your admiration of
and appreciation of Frankster's post.
I had tears in my eyes (LMAO) after getting home last night and
"reviewing"
my "in box". Passed it along to a lot
of others!!
And your daughter's "yeah, so....what's
your point" response to your heartfelt
attempt at "sharing" is spot-on! A buddy's
16 year old girl is the same way. I love
witnessing some of their "conversations"
and her retorts....it's all in the tone of
voice!! Cracks me up. Her Dad
glances over at me shaking his head with
that "knowing" grin passing between us...
these moments are truly pricelessly
funny and I absolutely love the "wise
guy" responses of young people, given
our understanding that the world they
are growing up in is different from the
one we experienced at their age.
Same with the young people I fly with...
none of whom would be caught dead
without a cellphone and/or personal
computer, along with a handheld GPS
(which comes in pretty handy "up there", sometimes!).
So, I will join you....."thank you, Frank"!:)
