Whew!!

Harrowing weekend for sure but you now
cruise down the highway at 3200 instead
of 4,000+ and your "new" motor may
run on the warm side (for now) but it's
also running 60lbs. of pressure "hot"
which, as I understand it, is pretty damn
good for a 1500 motor.

And, you discovered a problem with the
original engine before it got bad enough
to come apart on it's own, which probably
would have happened at a convenient place such as the middle of the
George
Washington Bridge.......in rush hour traffic......in the most violent
thunderstorm
the area had seen in months!

So, it would appeareth your glass is
half full at this point, Larry!

Of course, neither Chuck, Dave, Allen or
Kevin will talk to you at this point
considering they've been traumatized for
life but, considering your professional
position, you can get them a discount on
the years of therapy they'll obviously need
in order to recover from thieir "near death
experience" in working with the guy with
the ponytail, whoever the hell he is.

No sense even trying with THIS guy...for
it can obviously be seen that he is
completely "toasted" and well beyond
recovery to any state even roughly
approaching "normalacy"! :)

Well, the car runs, you've got the winter
to restore your "real" motor and can look
forward to driving the 5 speed with the
"tuned" motor easily by Spring and maybe
even sooner, at which time your glass will
be all but brimming over!
