Don't know if it's already been mentioned but I stumbled across a great
show last night
at 9:00 central on the Discovery Home & leisure channel (286 on Directv).
It's called "A car is reborn"
and follows a chap, Mark Evens, as he undertakes the full process of
restoring a series I E type.
Boy was it a breath of fresh air compared to the top dollar drivel that is
on Speed Channel's
Dream car garbage er... garage. On the first show he visits the Classic Car
Show at The Birmingham NEC
and there are loads of LBCs and BBCs on camera from Austin Allegro's to an
XKSS.
Looks very promising as he even finds his possible resto car under a
tarpaulin on a farm and has
it towed off by a farm tractor ending the episode. Very enjoyable watching.
