Andrew-

Using 1.5 rockers with a kit designed within which there are springs
designed
for the stock rocker ratio (1.3 more or less) will in effect "stiffen"
those springs,
making for a higher rpm wherein valve
"float" will be encountered.

This will also increase loading on all
valve train parts (including cam lobes).

All of this is expected of the "tuned" unit
wherein an "extension" of the stock "redline" is desired for more top
end power (as in racing).

If all you wish is better top end performance WITHIN and UP TO the
stock factory "redline", then softer valve
springs are in the offing using 1.5 rockers.

On the Kent website click onto "contact
us" and address your question to the
attention of "tech support". The cam
(kit) maker is normally the best source of
advice for use of his product.

Let us know what advice you get in this
respect, please!! :)
