I went to get the Park Avenue inspected today. My wife wanted the
headlamps checked for alignment while I was there. A customer came in
and commented on the old machine still being around. It seems that the
headlamp alignment is no longer an item that is required in the
inspection process.
BUT!!! Isn't there always a but, and in this case, it is a BUTTHEAD,
that helped this next addendum. The machine is not a needed item in an
inspection station, but when the DPS comes in to inspect the station, it
MUST have a red line on the floor. The same red line that said headlamp
machine will trolley on to keep the distance correct for the test. So,
they MUST have a red line, but the damn machine is not a
requirement........
Damn, if California has not snuck some of their politicians to
Texas.................!!!!
This months Readers Digest has an article called Clear and Present
Danger on page 90. It is about the danger of what could happen to us if
we had a terrorist attack on Congress, and we lost our governing body.
They seem to think it would be devastating, I seem to think it could
stem the flow of stupid ass laws, IMHO
