Does the smell of the exhaust most resemble "heated water" (steam -
almost
odorless) or gasoline? 

Does the "smoke" more or less disappear
fairly rapidly (evaporation) or does it tend
to "hang" in the air for awhile and simply
"dissapate" slowly.

I mean I think you have it solved more or
less......just double checking! :)
