Hey y'all,
So, for this year's day after Thanksgiving Save our Sprites episode, we will
be once again invading (and broadcasting live via the internet) the friendly
confines of Worldwide in Madison, WI.
On the (auto) menu this year will be a number of projects that require far
less talent, (allowing more beer consumption) than last year's attempt at
constructing a car. This year, we'll be "deconstructing". The famous "Gift
Sprite" is succumbing to "dust to dust, ashes to ashes, and iron oxid to iron
oxide" in a somewhat accelerated fashion.. so, rather than wait too long and
have the good parts continue to fall off, we will remove them in "pre-emptive
fashion"
We'll strip gift Sprite, along with a MKII and sort out good bits and pieces.
Also, I think one or two of us will assemble Tutone's 1275 street motor...
undoubtedly away from the fray of rust, debris, and the occasional tossed
wrench.
So, come ye, come ye... all are welcome. No particular skills needed (like
that ever stopped you before...). If you've got an impact wrench, air ratchet,
or sawzall, bring it.
