Didn't you previously state you had a
stock low compression engine? That
woud be 8.0-1 with 11cc "dished"
pistons, as opposed to the 6cc "dished"
types for the stock 8.8-1 high compression
motor. Point being there is usually plenty
of room for the valves even with the stock
head going to 16.4cc chambers with the
normal 1.3 (more or less) RR in the stock
8.8-1 "HC" motor.
Of course, you are going to a 1.5 rocker
set-up.....so.....
were I you, I would check this out with
my Longman head supplier with respect
to the "target" compression ratio,
bearing in mind the effective thickness
of the type of head gasket I was using.
I don't see you having any problem here
BUT.....it always pays to check it out and
be no less than 100% SURE. :)
