the first 240's that were not for export were badged "fairlady" on the lower
front fenders right where the export versions of later manufacture carried
the 240 badges. there are a precious few "fairlady" 240's in the country
that i'm aware of.
just as few are the nissan patrol's wich were the datsun "jeep".

i was at one time in the late 70's a datsun parts man just before they
decided to become known as nissan (last week i just threw out my
certification booklets i had all thses years.)

chuck.

used on subsequent models up-to-and-including the 240Z. Not sure about
later than the 240.
